About the Course

CMA Foundation is the entry-level exam for the Cost and Management Accountancy (CMA) course, conducted by the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI). It introduces students to the basics of accounting, management, and business principles, laying a strong groundwork for the Intermediate and Final levels.

Subjects of Study

The CMA Foundation syllabus consists of four papers:

  • Fundamentals of Business Laws and Business Communication
  • Fundamentals of Financial and Cost Accounting
  • Fundamentals of Business Mathematics and Statistics
  • Fundamentals of Business Economics and Management

Eligibility

  • Must have passed 10+2 (Higher Secondary) from any recognized board.
  • Students can register provisionally after appearing for Class 12 exams.

Registration Fees

₹6,000 (Payable directly to ICMAI).

Registration Cutoff

Four months prior to the month of the June or December examinations.

Coaching Duration

4 months of structured coaching, including classes, mock tests, and full syllabus coverage.
